CARMEN ROSSI - Colorist

Born in Italy, Carmen Rossi greets all her clients with Mediterranean warmth and charm, so it’s no mystery she has such a loyal international following.

In a career spanning over twenty-five years, Carmen has worked at some of the city’s highest profile salons including: Henri Bendel, Sergio Valente at Bergdorf Goodman, Frederic Fekkai, Kim LePine and A.K.S. before re-teaming with her old partner, Oscar Blandi.

Nicknamed the ‘Sherlock Holmes of Colorists’ by Allure Magazine, Rossi can tell at a glance a person’s prior treatments, conditioning habits and damage levels. Luckily, she has a solution for any hair crime a client presents her with, but, Carmen’s basic philosophy is less is more whenever possible, she prefers to enhance natural color rather than changing the base. In her case, the old adage “only her hairdresser knows for sure”, is absolutely true – as her legion of fans would attest.
